I'm on the edge of getting fired!!!

Just so you know, I have a CEO who's highly skilled and professional in this industry. I'd usually continue about my daily life but something huge happened today.

I have sent her a message and also joined others on the group to send in our wishes, but how dare I not use this platform to celebrate the CEO of BMC on her birthday 🎊🎊.

Happy birthday CEO Peace Tommy. I wish you God's best in this new chapter of your life. Ride on in your dominion as you continue to conquer all that The Lord has set before you.

PS: Don't forget to send us the flight tickets to the destination of your birthday shutdown party ma👌🏽

Have you seen a tree become worried about its leaves falling off that it stops producing leaves?

Sometimes, when we are put in positions where we urgently need to cut down on our activities in order to create more time for other things, we're tempted to take out the core things that sustains the rest.

One common example is when people cut down on their development (learning activities like reading and listening to podcasts) for executional activities. Now don't get me wrong, there are phases in life that require high volume execution. But remember that information is the soil on which things are built.

Some people are working hard but with the wrong or worse still, outdated information. We live in an age where knowledge is mass-produced and most of which becomes irrelevant the moment they hit the mainstream media.

Don't expect to build relevant things with outdated tools. Grow at all cost.

This is a profound reminder! Trees don't worry about losing leaves, they just keep growing.

We should do the same and focus on what we can control. Thank you for sharing Chris A ⚡

One of my opinions about social interactions that puts me in that position 👇🏼👇🏼...

Usually because of multiple factors, it is very common in this time and age to find that a lot of people are parasitic in their actions and how they view the world.

You'll find a deeply ingrained code in the minds of many people with the command prompt: NEVER STOP TAKING. Like literally keep taking until there's nothing left in the source, then move on to the next target. How would you know you're one of such people?

Do you have expectations of what others should bring to the table? Have you actually sat down to evaluate what you're bringing to the same table? Do you match or equate what the other(s) is(or are) bringing in terms of quality AND quantity plus relevance? Are you committed to providing what the other(s) need?

That's how to discover whether you're in a profitable association or in a parasitic one.

I wanted to wing it today, but then I remembered a lesson I wished I had learnt 10 years ago. I know you wish so too...

There are a lot of things we all agree to be wrong and are designed to lead us in continuous circles that won't get anything done. Unfortunately, we are obsessed with these things and one of them is the obsession to complicate matters... And here's how it works, most of the time.

It begins with a core desire to not just be the best, but to make others look like fools who are too full, lazy and ignorant in your eyes that you think the only place for them is beneath you. So even subconsciously in your words and actions, there are indicators that you consider no one close to you on the scale of intelligence, excellence etc. Let's see where this takes us...

Due to this deeply seated desire, you don't consider anyone else qualified enough to even be your competition not to mention contemporary. So you begin to overcomplicate things like your processes and execution so that no one would be able to model you but guess what you're also doing in the process?

You're making the journey harder for yourself. Instead of building simple systems and structures to optimise your output, you're more focused on blurring the lines behind you so that you keep up with the mystical appearances.

Well...I don't have any counsel for you if this is you... you can choose to always be looking over your shoulders or be part of a tribe heading towards the same bullseye, with whom you can go to war with against the common competition... It's all your choice 🤝🏽

If this is not you, I'll suggest you just focus on being the guy in the second frame 🫡
